Turkish football club Antalyaspor's German star Lukas Podolski appeared in a tourism promotional video featuring the ancient city of Patara, where nature and history mingle in unique harmony in the southern province of Antalya. Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan in February announced 2020 as the year of Patara, the cradle of civilizations, in a bid to promote and draw attention to the ancient city.
