Antalya Promotion Foundation launched the "Natural Heritage is Beautiful on its own lands" project in order to support the work of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism in ensuring the return of artifacts smuggled abroad from Antalya and to raise public awareness.
A petition campaign was launched on Change.org (Change.org/eserlerevindeguzel) within the scope of the project, a replica of the Nereids Monument exhibited in the British Museum, which was smuggled abroad from Antalya in front of the Antalya Airport International Terminal, and the Antalya Aquarium, which hosts 1.5 million visitors every year. A replica of the Sarcophagus of Herakles, which was smuggled abroad from Antalya and returned to Turkey, was placed in front of it. At the same time, the awareness that Antalya protects its history is instilled in the local and foreign tourists with the postcards and brochures prepared for the project, which include the QR code of the signature campaign.
