Located in the Aksu district of Antalya, the Ancient City of Perge hosted twice as many visitors in 2022 as the previous year. The ancient city, which was visited by 71 thousand 290 people in 2021, was visited by 140 thousand 291 people in 2022.

In the ancient city of Perge, which is one of the most important ancient cities of Turkey and dates back to 3000 BC, 2020 was recorded as the year where the least visitors were hosted due to the pandemic. According to the data of Antalya Provincial Directorate of Culture and Tourism, 37 thousand 957 people visited Perge in 2020. In 2021, this number doubled to 71 thousand 290 visitors. The ancient city was visited by 140 thousand 291 people in 2022 and hosted twice as many visitors as the previous year.
