In a written statement, Mayor of Antalya Muhittin Böcek announced that, “Supporting the evolution of our country's film industry is of utmost importance to us. The Antalya Film Forum not only supports the industry but also highlights that Antalya, with its comprehensive facilities, is a natural film set. This year, a total of TL 550 thousand worth of cash prizes would be awarded to projects selected by the main jury at the Antalya Film Forum. In its 10th year, we aspire for the Forum to reach the same 60-year milestone as our festival."

As every year, the Forum will continue to support the development of the Turkish film industry, to expand co- production opportunities for projects produced or co-produced out of Turkey, and to strengthen ties between the Turkish and international film industries. As well as the competitive element, pitching sessions and one-on-one meetings of the five platforms, the Antalya Film Forum will continue to reach out to film professionals this year with a series of talks, workshops and masterclasses under the Forum+ umbrella.
Applications can be made via the festival's website starting from today (Wednesday, July 12).
